How to use Netflix on your Hisense TV or streaming media player

Netflix is available on many Hisense devices in Australia, Canada, Europe, Latin America, New Zealand, and the United States.

To connect your Hisense TV or Hisense Google TV streaming media player to your Netflix account, make sure you are on the home screen and select the option that best describes your device.

Hicast@ button on remote

  1. Press the Hicast@ button on your Hisense remote.

  2. Select Netflix.

  3. Select Member sign in and follow the directions on the screen.

To start over or sign in with a different email address at any point during this process, use the arrow keys on your controller to enter the following sequence:

  • Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up

  • Select Sign Out, Start Over, or Deactivate.

All Apps button on remote

  1. Press the All Apps button on your Hisense remote.

  2. Select Netflix.

  3. Select Member sign in and follow the directions on the screen.

To start over or sign in with a different email address at any point during this process, use the arrow keys on your controller to enter the following sequence:

  • Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up

  • Select Sign Out, Start Over, or Deactivate.

Hisense Roku TV

  1. From the home screen, choose Netflix.

  2. Select Sign In and follow the directions on the screen.

To start over or sign in with a different email address at any point during this process, use the arrow keys on your controller to enter the following sequence:

  • Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up

  • Select Sign Out, Start Over, or Deactivate.

To sign out of the Netflix account on your device, follow these steps.

Through your Hisense device

  1. Begin from the Home screen.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Select Applications.

    • ​​If Applications is missing, go to Network > Applications.

  4. Select Netflix, then select Deactivate.

If you don't have those options, follow the steps below.

Through Netflix

  1. Go to the Netflix home screen, then go left to open the menu.

  2. At the bottom, select Get Help > Sign out > Yes.

    Note:
    If you don't see Get Help, go up and select Settings settings icon.

If you can't find Get Help, Settings, or Sign out:

  1. Using your remote, press these buttons in this order: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up.

  2. On the menu that appears, select Sign out, Start Over, Reset, or Deactivate.

Hisense Roku TV

  1. Go to the Netflix home screen, then go left to open the menu.

  2. At the bottom, select Get Help > Sign out > Yes.

    Note:
    If you don't see Get Help, go up and select Settings settings icon.

If you can't find Get Help, Settings, or Sign out:

  1. Using your remote, press these buttons in this order: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up.

  2. On the menu that appears, select Sign out, Start Over, Reset, or Deactivate.

Netflix is available in Ultra HD on most Hisense Ultra HD TVs. To stream in Ultra HD, you will need:

Netflix is available in Dolby Vision and HDR on select Hisense TVs. To stream in Dolby Vision or HDR, you will need:

  • A smart TV that supports either Dolby Vision or HDR10 and Netflix.

    • If you're using an HDR-capable Blu-ray player, you'll need to connect it to an HDR-capable smart TV via an HDMI port that supports HDCP 2.2 or later (usually the HDMI 1 port.)

  • A Netflix plan that supports streaming in Ultra HD.

  • A steady internet connection speed of 15 megabits per second or higher.

  • Streaming quality set to Auto or High.
