Billing FAQs: TIM Black Family Plan

Customers in Brazil can sign up for an eligible TIM Black Family Plan that includes a Netflix subscription.

Once you've signed up for a TIM package that includes Netflix, you'll want to link a new or existing Netflix account.

How can I link my Netflix account to my TIM package?

Once you've signed up for a TIM Black Family Plan that includes Netflix, you will receive an SMS from TIM that contains an activation link. Click the link or sign in directly to the TIM website at www.tim.com.br/netflixincluso and follow the prompts to link your existing Netflix account to your TIM package, or create a new Netflix account to link to your TIM package.

How do I check to see if Netflix is included in my TIM Black Family Plan?

Please contact TIM to see if Netflix is included with your TIM Black Family Plan.

I accidentally linked the wrong Netflix account to a bundle plan or package. What should I do?

Please contact customer service and provide the email address for the Netflix account that is incorrectly linked so that we can help you link the correct Netflix account to your bundle.

What will happen to my Netflix account if I cancel my TIM Black Family Plan or service?

If you cancel your TIM Black Family Plan or service, one of two things will happen:

  • If your Netflix account has a valid method of payment (credit or debit card, for example) on file, you will continue to stream uninterrupted and we will charge your method of payment.

  • If your Netflix account does not have a valid method of payment on file, your account will go on hold. To continue streaming, visit netflix.com/youraccount and add a new method of payment.

How do I change my Netflix plan?

To change your plan, sign in to Netflix and visit your Account page. Then select Change Plan to view and select available plans.

You can also change your Netflix plan by contacting TIM for support.

If you upgrade to the Premium 4 Screen plan, the additional charge, based on Netflix retail price, will be reflected on your TIM bill.

What happens to my Netflix Gift Card or promotional balance when I link my account to my TIM Black Family Plan?

Once you link your account to your TIM Black Family Plan, your gift balance will be held on your account for future use. In the future, if you cancel your TIM Black Family Plan, we will continue to bill your gift card or promotional balance.

I connected my Netflix account to my TIM Black Family Plan, but I'm still being charged on my credit/debit card. What should I do?

It's possible that you accidentally mistyped your email while linking your account and created a duplicate account. To resolve this, try the following:

  1. Sign in to your account on the TIM website and navigate to www.tim.com.br/netflixincluso.

  2. Select OK. You will be directed to a sign in page with your email address auto-populated.

  3. Confirm that the email address you entered is typed correctly. If not, follow the steps under I accidentally linked the wrong Netflix account to my TIM Black Family Plan. What do I do now? to update the account linked to your TIM Black Family Plan.

How do I cancel Netflix?

To unlink your Netflix account from your TIM Black Family Plan and stop paying for Netflix through TIM, please contact TIM customer support.

  • If your Netflix account has a valid payment method on file, we will immediately resume billing your payment method and your streaming will continue uninterrupted. If you do not want to continue your Netflix membership, you can cancel your account on your Netflix Account page after you've canceled with TIM.

  • If your Netflix account doesn't have a valid method of payment on file, your account will immediately go on hold. To continue streaming, you must visit your Netflix Account page and add a new payment method.

How do I contact TIM customer support?

You can contact TIM customer support by dialing *144 on a TIM mobile device or 1056. Be sure to tell the TIM agent that you have Netflix through your TIM Black Family Plan.
