If you experience the error code C7053-1803 on your Google Chromebook or Chromebox, it typically points to information stored on your device that needs to be refreshed. Follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue.
Type chrome://settings into the Google Chrome address bar, then press Enter.
Scroll down and select Advanced.
Scroll down to the Reset section and select Reset.
Select Reset to confirm.
Try Netflix again.
From the Chrome browser menu, select Settings.
Under Settings, select Show advanced settings at the bottom of the page.
Under the Powerwash section, click the Powerwash button.
A prompt will come up that reads Restart your device. A restart is required before your device can be reset with Powerwash. Select Restart.
Your computer will now restart and you will be prompted to sign in to Gmail again upon restart. Once signed in, try Netflix again.
