Netflix Error M7701-1003

Pardon the interruption
We're having trouble playing Netflix. Please visit chrome://components, find "Widevine Content Decryption Module" and click on the "Check for update" button.

This error means a setting in your browser is stopping Netflix from playing, or that your browser needs to be updated.

Note:
If you get this error but don't use Google Chrome, or you're using a Chromium-based web browser, your browser isn't supported by Netflix. Use a supported browser to continue watching Netflix.

To fix the problem on your Google Chrome browser:

Make sure your browser can play protected content

  1. Type or copy and paste chrome://settings/content/protectedContent into the address bar, then press Enter or Return.

Make sure your browser version is supported

Make sure your browser version is supported by checking the Netflix system requirements.

If your browser version isn't supported, update your browser to the latest version or use a browser that supports HTML5.

If your browser version is supported, follow the troubleshooting steps below.

Update Chrome's content protection feature

  1. Type or copy and paste chrome://components into your browser's address bar, then press Enter or Return.
