This error happens when an issue with data stored on your device stops Netflix from playing.
To fix the problem, follow the steps for your device.
TVs and streaming media players
Smart TV

Go to the Netflix home screen, then go left to open the menu.

At the bottom, select Get Help > Sign out > Yes.

Sign back in, then try Netflix again.
If your device is on an error screen:

Select More Details.

Select Sign out or Reset.

If you can't find Get Help or Sign out:

Reinstall the Netflix app
To uninstall Netflix:

Select Download, then select Open.

Deactivate and reactivate the Netflix app
Roku 1

Press the Home button on your Roku remote to navigate to the Roku home screen.

Select Settings.

Select Netflix Settings.

Select Deactivate this player from my Netflix account.

Select Yes. The device is now deactivated.

Select Netflix from the home screen and follow the prompts to reactivate the app.

Sign in to your account and try Netflix again.

Select Remove channel.

Uninstall and reinstall the Netflix app
Uninstall the Netflix app:

Highlight the Netflix app and press the Menu button on the controller.

Select Manage App.

Select Uninstall All.

Reinstall the Netflix app:

Scroll right to access the Store.

In the Apps section, select Netflix.

Select Install.

Reinstall Netflix

From the Xbox 360 Dashboard, go to Apps.

Choose Netflix to download the app.

Try Netflix again.
