Netflix Error M7357-1003

If you experience the error code M7357-1003 on your computer, it typically points to a component on your browser that needs to be updated or that is being blocked by a security setting or program. Follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue.

Update Chrome's content protection feature
Note:
Anti-virus and/or firewall software can prevent Chrome's content protection feature - the Widevine Content Decryption Module - from updating successfully. Please disable your anti-virus and/or firewall software before checking for an update. Once the update is complete, you can re-enable your security software.
  1. In the address bar on the Chrome browser, type chrome://components and press Enter or Return on your keyboard.

  2. Locate the Widevine Content Decryption Module component.

    • If the Widevine Content Decryption Module is not listed under chrome://components, check to make sure you are using Chrome from Google.

      Note:
      Chromium is not supported.
  3. Select Check for update.

    • If you see Status - Component updated, restart Chrome and try Netflix again.

    • If you see Status - Component not updated, there may be a program or security setting on your device that is preventing the module from updating. Contact your device manufacturer or a trusted IT professional for further assistance. If your device manufacturer or an IT professional is unable to help, you will need to use an alternate browser to continue streaming Netflix.
