App Updates and Content Downloads

The game tells me to update but there's no update available.

Updates can take a while to filter through to all regions, so if you're prompted to update the game but there isn't one showing for you, please try the following steps:

Refresh the pending update list:

  1. Open the App Store.

  2. Tap on your Apple ID profile picture in the top right corner.

  3. If you have updates already pending, they’ll be at the bottom of your screen.

  4. If Bloons TD 6 does not appear in that list, pull the list down to refresh.

Sign out/in of your Apple ID:

  1. From your device's Home screen; navigate to:

    Settings icon > iTunes & App Store.

  2. To sign out, tap the Apple ID then tap "Sign Out."

  3. Restart your device and sign back in.

  4. Check to see if the update is now available.

Refresh the pending update list:

Open the Google Play Store app.

  • Tap Menu (the three line icon at the top corner).

  • Then select "My apps and games".

  • Apps with an update available are labelled 'Update'.

  • If Bloons TD 6 does not appear in that list, pull the list down to refresh.

Clear your cache:

  • Go to settings.

  • Head over to applications.

  • Open all applications/manage applications.

  • Move onto the Google Play Store.

  • Clear cache.

Then

  • Go to settings.

  • Head over to applications.

  • Open all applications/manage applications.

  • Move onto Bloons TD 6.

  • Clear cache.

Once you've completed these steps, check the Google Play Store again to see if the update is available.

NOTE: Please do not attempt to reinstall the game prior to contacting us to avoid loss of game data.

If you are using a Samsung device, please disable Download Booster, restart your device and try again.

​

How to disable Download Booster:

  1. From the Home screen touch Apps.Touch Settings.

  2. Locate and then touch Download Booster.

  3. Touch the slider (if it is in the 'on' position) to put it in the 'off' position.

  4. Touch OK.
