Games on TV and on Netflix.com

Games on TV and on PCs/Macs through Netflix.com is a beta experience available to a subset of members in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Spain, Mexico, France, Italy, and Germany on select devices. Through this beta, we're testing our game streaming technology and controller to make games playable across all devices where you enjoy Netflix.

If you have a games row when browsing Netflix on your TV or in a web browser on Netflix.com, it means your account is in the beta and your device meets the hardware requirements.

How to find games on TV and on Netflix.com

  • If you see a games row in the Netflix app on your smart TV, it means your account is in the beta and your device meets the hardware requirements.

  • You can play games directly from the games row or the Games tab. The Games tab is located on the left side of your screen under the Netflix navigation menu. Click the controller icon to find and explore more available games.

Depending on your device, you might see only mobile games or both games on TV and mobile games in the Games tab.

Note: Mobile games on TV aren't playable on TV, but can be downloaded and played on a mobile phone or tablet. All mobile games are included with your membership. No ads, no extra fees, and no in-app purchases.

  • Choose the game you want to play, and select the Play Game button.

  • You'll need to pair a mobile device to control gameplay. This is a quick process where you scan a QR code on your TV with the mobile device that you'll use as a controller. Just follow the steps on the screen.

  • Some additional notes about using the phone controller:

    • You don't need to be signed in to any particular Netflix account on your phone.

    • Any Netflix account data or information will not be shared as it’s not involved in using the game controller.

  • After you’ve paired your controller, the game should start.

  • If you're on Netflix.com on Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge web browser and see a games row on the home screen, it means your account is in the beta and your device meets the hardware requirements.

  • A Keyboard and mouse or game controller app is required to play

  • Click on the game you want to play, and click on the Play Game button.
