How to use Netflix on your Toshiba TV or TVS REGZA TV

Use this article to learn about Netflix features on your Toshiba TV or TVS REGZA TV, or home theater system, including how to set up and sign out of your account.

To connect your Toshiba TV or TVS REGZA TV, or home theater system to your Netflix account, make sure you are on the Home screen and select the option below that best describes your device.

  1. Press the Net TV button on your remote.

  2. Select the Netflix icon and press OK.

  3. Select Sign In.

    • If you don't see Sign In, select Yes on the Are you a member of Netflix? screen.

    • If you aren't a member, set up your membership.

  4. Enter your Netflix email address and password and select Sign In.

Your device is now connected to your Netflix account.

To start over or sign in with a different email address at any point during this process, use the arrow keys on your controller to enter the following sequence:

  • Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up

  • Select Sign Out, Start Over, or Deactivate.

  1. Navigate to the Connected option in the main menu.

  2. Select the Netflix icon and push OK.

  3. Select Sign In.

    • If you don't see Sign In, select Yes on the Are you a member of Netflix? screen.

    • If you aren't a member, set up your membership.

  4. Enter your Netflix email address and password and select Sign In.

Your device is now connected to your Netflix account.

To start over or sign in with a different email address at any point during this process, use the arrow keys on your controller to enter the following sequence:

  • Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up

  • Select Sign Out, Start Over, or Deactivate.

Note: Netflix is not available on the Toshiba Z670K and X8900 series Android TV models.

To sign out of a Netflix account on your device, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Netflix home screen and press the back button on your remote to get to the menu.

  2. If the menu is at the top: Go left to your profile icon, select Get Help, then Sign out, then select Yes.

    If the menu is on the left: At the bottom, select Get Help, then Sign out, then select Yes.

    Note:If you don't see Get Help, go up and select Settings.

If you can't find Get Help, Settings, or Sign out:

  1. Using your remote, press these buttons in this order: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up.

  2. On the menu that appears, select Sign out, Start Over, Reset, or Deactivate.

Netflix is available in Ultra HD on most Toshiba TVs and TVS REGZA TVs. To stream in Ultra HD, you will need:

Netflix is available in Dolby Vision and HDR on select Toshiba TVs and TVS REGZA TVs. To stream in Dolby Vision or HDR, you will need:

  • A smart TV that supports either Dolby Vision or HDR10 and Netflix.

    • If you're using an HDR-capable Blu-ray player, you'll need to connect it to an HDR-capable smart TV via an HDMI port that supports HDCP 2.2 or later (usually the HDMI 1 port.)

  • A Netflix plan that supports streaming in Ultra HD.

  • A steady internet connection speed of 15 megabits per second or higher.

  • Streaming quality set to Auto or High.
