You can get the Netflix app from the Amazon Appstore on tablets with Fire OS version 7 or later.
To connect your Amazon Fire tablet to your Netflix account:
From the home screen, tap the Appstore.
In the upper right, tap the Search button and enter "Netflix".
Tap Netflix, then Download.
Once the app is installed, tap Open.
Tap Sign In and enter your Netflix email address or phone number and password to sign in.
Netflix streaming features on supported devices include:
Navigation
Search for titles by tapping the Search button in the upper right corner of the app. You can also scroll through rows of recommended genres on the home screen, or browse all genres using the menus near the top.
To fast-forward or rewind, tap anywhere on the screen, then slide your finger either forward or backward along the progress bar.
Press the back button to stop watching.
Subtitles & alternate audioDuring playback, tap the Audio & Subtitles icon at the top of the screen to configure subtitles and alternate-language audio.
Picture-in-PictureSome Fire tablets allow you to watch Netflix while using other apps, but not all support this feature. Learn more about picture-in-picture and its requirements.
DownloadsYou can download TV shows and movies to watch when you aren't online. Go to learn more about downloads.
Note: Downloading is supported on tablets with Fire OS version 7 or later.
To sign out of a Netflix account on your device, follow these steps:
In the upper right corner, tap your Profile icon .
Tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out again to confirm.
