Tax rates can vary by country, state, territory and city, and are based on the applicable rate at the time of your Netflix charge. These amounts can change over time with local tax requirements.

In Argentina, the following taxes are applicable to Netflix customers:

  • 21% Value Added Tax (VAT)

  • 8% transaction tax ("PAIS" tax)

  • 35% Resolution 4815/2020 tax

You will see a single Netflix charge (membership + tax) on your bank or card statement.

How can I change the billing currency from USD to ARS?

Netflix charges your monthly membership in Argentine Pesos (ARS). For technical reasons, card issuers may convert some international charges to US Dollars (USD), which is why the charge on your statement may display in USD.
