Cannot play title. Please try again later. (30103)

It typically points to information stored on your device that needs to be refreshed. Follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue.

When do you see this error message?

When you try to stream a TV show or movie

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.

  2. Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.

  3. After 10 seconds, press the Sleep/Wake button to turn your device back on.

  4. Once your device powers on, try Netflix again.

Are you using an HDMI adapter?

You may see this error if you attempt to use an HDMI adapter to play video from your Apple device on an external display. To resolve the issue:

  • Check your iOS version. To use an HDMI adapter with Netflix, your iOS device must be running iOS 11.2.6 or above.

    1. Go to Settings.

    2. Scroll down and select General.

    3. Select About. Your version number will be listed next to Version.

  • Ensure you are using a compatible HDMI adapter. Incompatible adapters may prevent Netflix from playing your content.

When you try to play a downloaded TV show or movie

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Download the title again

  1. Tap the Downloads icon .

    • If you do not see the Downloads icon, tap the Menu icon , then My Downloads.

  2. Tap Edit in the upper right corner of your screen.

  3. Tap the red X icon to remove the title from your device.

  4. Download the title again.
