Redeem a Netflix promotion

Netflix partners with a variety of companies to provide special promotional offers to their customers.

If you have received a promo redemption link from a partner instead of a code, follow the redemption instructions provided by the partner.

If you have received a promo code, go to netflix.com/redeem and enter the code to get started (some promotional offers from third parties may have some additional restrictions).

  • If you're new to Netflix, you'll be prompted to create a new Netflix account under the Create A New Account tab.

  • If you're an existing Netflix customer but not signed in to your account, you'll be prompted to sign in under the Already A Member? tab.

Promotional offers can't be used on an account that's billed through Apple. To redeem a promotion, you will need to cancel your Netflix account and then redeem your promotion once your current subscription has ended.

You can only redeem promotional offers from the country you originally signed up for or rejoined Netflix in. If you try to redeem a promotional offer from a different country, you may see an error message.

To confirm that your promotional offer has been applied, check your Membership page.

To check the balance of your promotional offer, you can View payment history on your account.

A promotional offer is applied to an account as a monetary amount. If you upgrade or downgrade your plan, it will affect how quickly the promotional balance is consumed.

No, redeeming a promotional offer does not change the plan on your existing account.

Some promotions may have a redemption expiration date, so it's best to redeem them as soon as possible.

If you do not have another payment method on your account, your membership will automatically end. If you added a payment method to your account during the promotional period, you can continue using Netflix and we will charge your once per month until you cancel your account.

You can watch movies and TV shows for as long as your promotional balance lasts. We will remind you when your promotional balance is low. Once the balance is consumed, you will need to add either a gift card or payment method to your account to continue using Netflix. This may affect your billing date, which can be found on your Payment History page.

You can cancel your account at any time and continue using Netflix until the balance for the promotion is used.

No. Promotional offers cannot be refunded.

Yes. The promotional offer needs to have a value greater than the current monthly charge.

You cannot redeem a promotional offer if your account is linked to a Netflix-included package. You can apply this promotional offer to a new or different Netflix account.

Extra members cannot redeem promotional offers. They can be redeemed on a new or different Netflix account.

Note: Extra member accounts are not available in all countries.
