How to use Netflix with Google Home and Google Assistant

You can use Google Home and the Google Assistant to control connected Chromecast devices and select TVs with Chromecast built in.

• TVs with Chromecast built in require Cast version 1.21 or higher.

• Not all TVs with Chromecast built in are compatible with Google Home voice control.

To link your Netflix account to Google Assistant:

First, link your devices using the Google Home app. Then link Netflix to your Google account:

1. Open the Google Home app.

2. Select Settings .

3. Under Services, select Video.

4. Find Netflix, tap Link, and select Link Account.

5. Enter your Netflix email and password and select Sign in and Link.

6. Select a Netflix profile to link to Google Assistant.

You can now control Netflix on your Google Home-connected devices using Google Assistant voice controls.

To change the Netflix profile linked to Google Assistant:

1. Open the Google Home app.

2. Select Settings .

3. Under Services, select Video.

4. Find Netflix and tap Manage.

5. Tap Change Profile and select the Netflix profile to link to Google Assistant.

To unlink your Netflix account from Google Assistant:

1. Open the Google Home app.

2. Select Settings .

3. Under Services, select Video.

4. Find Netflix, tap Unlink, and select Unlink Account.

Your Netflix account is no longer linked to Google Assistant.
