Netflix Error 5.10

There is a problem playing the video. Please try again. (5.10)

This error means an issue with the video player on your Android device stopped Netflix from playing.

To fix the problem:

  1. Go to your device's home screen or apps list.

  2. Tap and hold the app, then tap App info.

  3. Tap Force stop > OK.

  4. Reopen the app, then try again.

Note:The steps to quit and reopen an app may be different for your device. For help, check the manual that came with your device or contact the company that made it.

  1. Turn off your phone or tablet. Make sure it's turned off, not just locked.

  2. Turn it back on.

  3. Try Netflix again.

You can find the option to update your Android device's OS version within the Settings app. Go to Google's support site to get the steps to update your device or to fix an issue with updating.
