You may receive a few different emails from Netflix related to changing your account password.
If you get a reset your password email from Netflix:
If you did request the email, reset your password by following the instructions in the email or by visiting netflix.com/password.
If you didn't request the email, follow the steps in How to keep your account secure.
If you get an email saying that your password was updated and you did not make the password change, update your password. If you can't update it, contact Customer Service.
If you see the message This password is not secure or is too common when resetting or changing your password, it means that the password you chose is on a list of compromised or commonly used passwords which we don't allow for security reasons. You’ll need to choose a different one.
