Profile transfer error: Please remove the email address associated with this profile to use profile transfer

If you get an error message that says

Please remove the email address associated with this profile to use profile transfer

It means that an email address has been added to the profile you're trying to transfer. Remove the email address from the profile by following the steps below, or choose a different profile to transfer.

  1. From a web browser, sign in to Netflix and choose the profile.

  2. Go to the Account page.

  3. Tap or click on the profile in the Profile & Parental Controls section.

  4. Next to Profile Email, choose Change.

    Note:You won’t see this option if you’re signed in to a different profile.

  5. Choose Delete email address.

  6. The profile can now be transferred.
