Netflix says 'Please enable cookies to proceed.'

This error message means a setting in your web browser is blocking cookies that are needed for netflix.com to work. Follow these steps to turn on cookies.

Phones and tablets

  1. In the upper right corner of Chrome, click Menu, then click Settings.

  2. On the left, click Privacy and security.

  3. Click Third-party cookies.

  4. Make sure the setting for Allow third-party cookies is turned on.

  5. Try Netflix again.

  1. Open the Settings app.

  2. In the list, find and tap Safari.

  3. Turn off Block All Cookies.

  1. Open your Samsung browser.

  2. In the lower right, tap the Menu.

  3. Tap Settings.

  4. Tap Sites and downloads.

  5. Tap Site permissions.

  6. Tap Cookies.

  7. Turn on Allow all cookies.

  8. Try Netflix again.

Computers

  1. From the upper right corner of the browser, click Menu.

  2. Click Settings > Security & Privacy > Cookies and other site data.

  3. Turn on Allow all cookies.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Click Cookies and site permissions.

  4. Click Manage and delete cookies and site data.

  5. Make sure Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended) is turned on.

  2. Click Settings > Privacy & Security

  3. Under Enhanced Tracking Protection, click Standard.

  1. In the top left corner, click Safari.

  2. Click Settings , then click Advanced.

  3. Make sure Block all cookies is unchecked.

  4. Close the window, then try Netflix again.
