Wild Things: Animal Adventures - Gameplay Questions

Customizing Settings
From the home screen, in the lower left corner tap the gear .

Note:You can also change some game settings while playing Match-3 levels by tapping the gear in the lower right corner.

  • Settings

    • Tilt View
      Toggles on/off shifting the view slightly when you tilt your device.

    • Vibration
      Toggles on/off haptic feedback (vibrations) while playing the game.

    • Hints
      Toggles on/off hints for which pieces to match while playing.

    • Sound
      Toggles on/off sound effects in the game.

    • Music
      Toggles on/off the music in the game.

    • Notifications
      Toggles on/off game notifications that are sent when you're not playing.

    • Support
      Tapping Support takes you to the Wild Things: Animal Adventures - Game Support article.

  • Profile
    From the Settings screen, tap the person icon to change your game profile.

    • Change Name
      Change your player’s name.

    • Change Player Icon
      Tap one of the character icons to change your player's icon.

  • Colorblind Settings
    From the Settings screen, tap the eye icon to change Colorblind Settings.

    • Protanopia
      Tap to Enable or Disable the Protanopia colorblind setting.

    • Tritanopia
      Tap to Enable or Disable the Tritanopia colorblind setting.

  • The Story
    The story of Wild Things is told in 18 chapters. Complete each Match-3 level of a chapter to earn Magic Leaves and Gold Coins. You can replay a single level as many times as you need to win. Use the Magic Leaves you've earned to complete story tasks in the player’s journal to progress through each chapter.

    At launch, only the first 6 chapters will be available to play. Every six weeks a new set of chapters will be released.

  • Items
    Along the way, you'll find some useful, unique items that'll help you on your journey.

  • Magic Leaves
    Win Magic Leaves by completing Match-3 levels. Use them on tasks to progress through the story. Each task has its own leaf cost, and some are more than others.

  • Gold Coins
    There are multiple ways to earn Gold Coins. The easiest way is to complete Match-3 levels. You can spend the Gold Coins on pre-game boosters and in-game powerups.

  • Pre-Game Boosters
    Before a Match-3 level begins, you can buy pre-game boosters using the Gold Coins that you’ve earned. These boosters are unlocked as the game progresses. Tap the boosters to see at what level they'll unlock.

  • In-Game Powerups
    Within a Match-3 level, there are in-game powerups that can be earned or bought with Gold Coins. You can earn in-game powerups through completing chapters and tasks in the game world, or use Gold Coins to buy them in the Match-3 level itself. These boosters are unlocked as the game progresses. Tap the powerups to see at what level they'll unlock.

The Wild Things
The Wild Things are a group of animals who used to be best friends. With the over-industrialization of the Wildlands and the distractions of social media, their priorities are a bit out of whack. Do your best to reunite the friends and they’ll reward you with animal powers and companionship that'll help you along your journey of restoring the Wildlands and the relationships within.

  • Liam
    A rough and tumble lion cub who longs for the good old days - maybe a bit too much. A lion with a secret. Is he responsible for the disaster? The truth will be revealed in Wild Things.

  • Emma
    A good friend and a great fan. Emma is sometimes a bit too passionate about her likes and dislikes. Emma is an elephant with a big heart. She wants the truth, and you can help her find it.

  • Arvind
    Arvind loves to dig, uncover historical artifacts, and theorize. He’s really only good at the digging part, though. Arvind is an aardvark on a quest for conspiracies. Will he get more than he bargained for?

  • Zelda
    If there’s a party going on, Zelda wants to be there. The question is, does anyone else want her to be there? All Zelda wants is to be the life of the party. She’ll find out what real friendship means in Wild Things.

  • Rachel
    If there’s a mountain to conquer, Rachel has most likely shredded it. Rachel is preparing for the Pan Animal games and spends all her time training. Will she ever be able to stick that trick that'll win her the gold? Sometimes you have to help others in order to help yourself.

  • Clay
    Clay has been happily living in his Croc Lagoon most of his life. Most recently, a paranormal presence has upset the balance of Clay’s good nature. He’s now become obsessed with finding a hidden Ghost Treasure. The problem is, no one believes in ghosts, right? Right? It may take some convincing when it comes to the other animals, but like they say, seeing is believing.

Within the game, there are multiple events. Each event will unlock at a pivotal point in the story.

  • Spirit Chest
    Complete Match-3 levels to unlock rewards!
    Unlocks in Chapter 1

  • Lost Lore
    Win Match-3 levels to recover books for the Lorikeet's Library. Recover more books by winning in fewer tries.
    Unlocks after Chapter 4

  • Skeets Mad Dash
    Win multiple Match-3 levels in a row on your first try to earn bonuses at level start. Keep winning to maintain your streak! Lose a level and you’ll lose your winning streak requiring you to start again at the bottom.
    Unlocks after Chapter 7

  • Slow and Steady
    Win multiple Match-3 levels in a row on your first try to earn bonuses at level start. Keep winning to reach checkpoints and maintain your streak! Lose a level and you’ll drop down to the previous checkpoint.
    Unlocks after Chapter 8

  • Shatterhorn Summit
    Earn points by beating Match-3 levels, the fewer attempts it takes, the more points you'll earn!
    Unlocks after Chapter 11

  • Keys & Locks
    Beat Match-3 levels to earn keys. Use the keys to unlock chests and earn rewards!
    Unlocks after Chapter 18
