Nailed It! Baking Bash - Gameplay Questions

Use the sliders to adjust the music and audio volume levels.Language
The game language will automatically match your Netflix profile language settings. Change your language by tapping LANGUAGE and choosing a different one.Help

Tapping RESET TUTORIALS allows you to play through the tutorial steps again. Your other in-game progress will not be reset.
Play with Friends
Playing with Friends is what Nailed It! Baking Bash is all about. Compete with friends and vote on each other’s cakes to determine the winner. A minimum of two and a maximum of six players can play in a multiplayer game.
Hosting a game
When you want to start a multiplayer game, tap HOST A GAME, then share the ROOMCODE with the players you want to invite. You can also tap the share icon next to the ROOMCODE to open your device’s sharing options.Picking a playmode
As the host, after tapping HOST A GAME you can tap PLAYMODE to choose between two multiplayer modes:CLASSIC: Try to recreate an example cake as best as you can, just like in the show!
FREEFORM: Create a cake based on a theme. No example or specific goal, let your creativity be your guide.
Joining a game
If one of your friends has already started a multiplayer game, tap JOIN A GAME and enter the ROOMCODE. Tap PLAY to join the game.Avatar creation
Before a multiplayer game kicks off, everyone gets to design their own avatar. You'll first pick a base shape and then tap DECORATE AVATAR to add items to your base shape available in the trays (to move between trays tap the arrow buttons). Once finished, slide the arrow button across the screen to confirm your choices and then enter your name and choose CONFIRM.Locked items
Some items in avatar creation will have a locked icon. To unlock them, complete cakes in the Backstage Baking single-player mode and share your results with others.Starting the game
If you are the host, you can start the game when all players are ready and have created their avatar.
Voting & winner
At the end of each multiplayer game, you and your friends vote on each other’s cakes. Drag the bronze, silver, and gold scores to the cakes as you see fit. The player with the highest combined points wins the game. In the case of a tie, Jacques and Nicole will decide the winner.Intermission
In between minigames, you and your friends will get rated on your performance. There are several ways to get rated, from blind taste tests by Jacques to who was the most speedy baker.Distractions
Once a winner has been picked, they will be awarded a distraction. You don’t have to use the distraction, but once you decide to the distraction will make the next minigame more challenging for your fellow players.
Backstage Baking
Backstage Baking is a single player experience where you can take your time perfecting your baking skills. Play through all cakes at your own pace and see how perfect --or wild-- you can get. Perfection is not a must, so be creative!
Pick a country
You can navigate through the different countries by tapping the arrow buttons. Tap LET'S PLAY! to enter the country.Pick a cake

After finishing a cake, you can share the results with your friends by tapping SHARE! Show off your cakes and challenge others to outdo your masterpiece!
While playing the Backstage Baking single-player mode, you’ll be able to unlock decoration items used to create your avatar in Play with Friends multiplayer mode.
For each cake there are two unlockables:
The first is earned when completing the cake for the first time.
The second can be earned by sharing your results.
In Nailed It! Baking Bash, you create cakes by playing through a sequence of minigames. Each minigame represents a stage of the baking process. Before a minigame starts you'll get a reminder of what you need to do in that minigame.
Sculpt
Shape the model with your finger. Each swipe shaves off some of the modeling chocolate. Try to match the example or be creative and go for a shape you want.Sculpt in reverse

Paint your sculpt by swiping your finger across the sculpt. Select different food coloring by tapping the coloring buckets.Bake layers
Combine the ingredients from the shelf to match the recipe at the top of the screen. Don’t let the packaging end up in the batter!Mixing colors
Combine the right colors from the shelf to match the colors at the top of the screen. Don’t let the food coloring bottles end up in your icing mix.Decorate
Grab items from the conveyer belt and place them on your cake. Try to match the example or be creative and design the cake you want.Decorate (with fork flicking)
Pull back the forks by swiping your finger across them. Release your finger to flick items onto your cake. You can see the trajectory of the item you are about to flick previewed on the screen. Try to match the example or be creative and design the cake you want.
If you don’t like any of the items on the forks, you can flick an item in the recycle bin to refresh the items on the forks.Fondant cutting
Cut away pieces of excess fondant by swiping your finger across the slab of fondant. Try to match the example or make any shape you think fits your cake best.Cut stencil and spray
Cut out the shapes by swiping your finger across the cardboard. Try to match the shapes in the example or create any shape you’d like to see on your cake.
Once your patterns have been cut, you can spray on the food coloring. Select the color you want and swipe your finger across the stencil to spray.Stacking layers
To stack the different layers of a cake, tap the screen to drop a layer. Make sure to properly align them, or else they might fall off.
During some bakes, you also need to spread buttercream on the cake layers to make them stick. To spread buttercream, swipe your finger across the cake where you want the buttercream to go.Carve and stack
Carve the blocks of cake by drawing a line across it with your finger. Try to match the shape of the outline or create a cake shape to your own liking. Make sure the pieces of cake are properly cut so they can stack on top of each other.Carve and collect

Shape the cookie dough by swiping your finger across it. Slide the CONTINUE button to move to the next stage.
Paint the cookie by swiping your finger across it. Select different food coloring by tapping the different piping bags.Modeling
Drag your finger across the dough to shape it. Try to match the example or make something you like.Modeling connecting
Drag items close to each other to connect them. You can always detach objects you have connected by pulling them off. Try to match the example or create an object you want with the parts available.
