Email verification
When signing up for Netflix, we may send you an email asking you to verify your email address. Verifying your email address helps keep your account more secure and up-to-date.
Tap or click the Verify Email button in that email to complete the process.
If you try to verify your email but the link is expired, tap or click Send Link on the error screen to get a new verification email sent.
Adding and verifying emails to secondary Profiles
When an email is added to a profile, they'll be asked to verify their email before signing in. They can verify by entering a 6-digit code we send to their email.
Once verified, they can sign in to their profile from any supported device.
How to opt in to email verification
If you didn't get the email when you signed up and you want to opt in to email verification, follow these steps:
Go to the Security section of your account.
Select Email.
Select Send Link.
Tap or click Verify Email in the email we send to you.
