How to use Netflix on your Amazon Fire TV device
Use this article to learn about Netflix features on your Amazon Fire TV device and how to set up, sign out, or delete the app.
Voice controls
In some regions, you can use voice controls using Alexa to interact with Netflix. This feature requires an Amazon Voice Remote or other Alexa-enabled device (for example, Amazon Echo).
Resolution
Most devices are capable of streaming Netflix in high definition on fast internet connections and will play Netflix in their maximum supported resolution.

To connect your Amazon Fire TV device to your Netflix account, begin from the home screen.

From the main screen, select Search.

Type "Netflix," then select Netflix.

Select Netflix.

Select Free or Download.

When the download completes, select Open and follow the instructions on the screen.
To disconnect your Amazon Fire TV device from your Netflix account, begin from the home screen.

Select Settings.

Select Applications.
-
Select Manage All Installed Applications.

Scroll down and select Netflix.

Select Clear Data.
To uninstall the Netflix app on your Amazon Fire TV device, begin from the home screen.

Select Settings.

Select Applications.
-
Select Manage All Installed Applications.

Select Netflix.

Select Delete or Uninstall.
Netflix is available in Ultra HD on select Amazon Fire TV devices (see list in "Netflix Features" above).
To stream in Ultra HD, you'll need:

Device requirements:

Amazon Fire Smart TV: a model that supports 4K UHD.

Amazon Fire TV sticks: A 2014 or newer Ultra HD TV that is capable of streaming Ultra HD content at 60 Hz, connected to your Fire TV device via an HDMI port that supports HDCP 2.2 or later (usually the HDMI 1 port).

A Netflix plan that supports streaming in Ultra HD.

A steady internet connection speed of 15 megabits per second or higher.

Streaming quality set to Auto or High.
If you don’t get Ultra HD on your Fire TV device, follow these steps to make sure your device has the right display settings:

From the Amazon home, screen go to Settings > Display & Sounds > Display.

Open the Video Resolution section.

Select Auto (up to 4K Ultra HD).
Note:If you see an Auto option, but not Auto (up to 4K Ultra HD), check whether your Amazon Fire TV device meets the Ultra HD requirements above. -
Try Netflix again.
