Netflix is available for streaming over the internet in over 190 countries around the world! When you're traveling, relocating in your current country, or relocating to a new country, there are a few things to keep in mind.
If you’re traveling and want to watch Netflix on the go, all you need is a stable internet connection for your supported device. If we notice you're using Netflix outside of the country you originally started your account in, we'll notify you directly in the app of any differences you might experience while abroad. You will be notified of any of the following changes:
Selection of TV shows and movies: Your choices for streaming (including audio/subtitle options) will vary from country to country.
Access to features: My List may not be available.
Different maturity ratings: Your parental control settings may need adjusting.
You will only see this notification on the website and most mobile/tablet devices.
If you have downloaded titles to your phone or tablet, you may not be able to play them while in a different country.
If you're moving within your current country, you can continue to enjoy the same Netflix experience without making any changes.
DVD Customers (US Only):
Make sure to update your shipping address by visiting your Account and selecting DVD shipping address. Your address change will take effect immediately. After you mail back your current discs, the next disc in your Queue will ship to your new address.
If you are moving to a new country where Netflix is available, there are only a few things to remember:
Monthly price, billing currency, and available payment methods may vary by country.
You will continue to be billed in the currency of the country you signed up in.
If you wish to be billed in the currency of the country you moved to, just cancel your account, wait until the remainder of your month is over, and restart your account in your new country.
Some countries don’t have the Netflix service available. If you are moving to one of these countries, you may cancel your account by signing in and visiting your Account page. To see which countries currently have Netflix available, check out Where is Netflix available?
DVD Customers (US Only):
DVD shipments are only available within the United States. If you are moving abroad, you can:
Cancel your DVD plan from your Account.
Change your shipping address to another US address.
Receive DVDs by using an APO, FPO, or DPO address if you are a US Service Member.
