Optus billing for Netflix is currently available to eligible customers who sign up for a new Netflix account or rejoin through an active Optus promotion.
To sign up for Optus billing with Netflix, you must first qualify for an active Optus promotional offer. After redeeming your offer, you will be automatically enrolled in Optus billing. Billing eligibility is determined by Optus.
To check if you are billed through Optus, visit the Membership and Billing section of your Netflix Account page. If you are unable to access your Netflix account, please see “I’m having trouble signing in to Netflix” below.
You can also check with Optus to see if Netflix is a part of your service package.
If you no longer wish to have Netflix charged to your Optus bill and wish to pay directly through Netflix, please visit Netflix.com/YourAccountPayment to switch to a new payment method. If you are unable to access your Netflix account, please see “I’m having trouble signing in to Netflix” below.
If you would like to make changes to how you pay your Optus bill, please contact Optus directly.
Netflix is unable to provide refunds to accounts billed by Optus. If you believe that you were charged in error, and you’ve confirmed that no one in your household created an account on your behalf, contact Optus for support. If you are seeing the message “Sorry, we can't find an account with this email address,” follow the steps below.
Check to see if you are still signed in to Netflix on the device you used to sign up. If so, you can access your account information and update your email address.
If you are still unable to access your account:
Contact Optus and tell the agent you need help recovering your Netflix login information.
Be prepared to give the agent the email address you wish to use for Netflix.
The agent will follow their internal processes, and within 1-2 days your email address will be updated and you will receive a Netflix email guiding you to reset your password.
