Note: DVDs and the Queue feature are only available in the US.
Once you create a list in Your Queue of DVDs or Blu-ray discs you want to watch, we ship them to the address on your account via US Postal Service First Class Mail.
Netflix ships to all 50 states and U.S. territories, including Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the Federated Islands of Micronesia, the Marshall Islands, the Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, and the Virgin Islands. We also ship to APO, FPO, and DPO addresses. Due to the distance of these locations from our distribution centers, delivery times may take several additional days.
We ship discs in the order they appear in Your Queue. You can change the order, add titles, or remove titles any time. If the first title in your queue isn't available, we'll send the next available title instead.
Most of our customers receive next-day delivery, but shipping can sometimes take up to three business days. If a disc hasn't arrived and it's been three or more days, please report it as lost.
When you're done with a title, simply put it back in the red envelope it came in, re-seal it, and put it back in the mail. As soon as we get it back, we'll send the next movie from Your Queue.
Don’t worry if your return envelope just says “Nearest Netflix Shipping Facility” instead of an actual address. We've worked closely with the U.S. Postal Service to ensure that your movie will be returned to the nearest Netflix shipping facility, even without a return address.
Netflix generally processes shipments Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. When we check in a return, we automatically send an e-mail to let you know we received your disc. We also send you an e-mail letting you know when we have shipped your next disc (generally the same day we process your return).
