Netflix says 'There was a problem with this download. (DLS.2)'

If you see an error that says

There was a problem with this download. (DLS.2)

It typically points to a network connectivity issue that is preventing your Android from connecting to the Netflix service. Follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue.

  1. From the Android home screen, navigate to Settings.

  2. Select Connections.

    • If you don't see Connections, continue to the next step.

  3. Select Wi-Fi.

  4. Select the network you are currently connected to.

  5. Select Forget.

  6. Once the network is no longer connected, re-connect to your preferred network.

  7. Try Netflix again.
