Shaw billing with Netflix is currently available to eligible customers who sign up for a new Netflix account or rejoin through an active Shaw promotion.
To sign up for Shaw billing with Netflix, you must sign up or rejoin on your Shaw set-top box, or qualify for and redeem an active Shaw promotional offer. If you sign up through a promotional offer, you will be automatically enrolled in Shaw billing after the promotional value is consumed. Billing eligibility is determined by Shaw.
To check if you are billed through Shaw, visit the Membership and Billing section of your Netflix Account page. If you are unable to access your Netflix account, please see “I’m having trouble signing in to Netflix” below.
You can also check with Shaw to see if Netflix is a part of your service package.
If you no longer wish to have Netflix charged to your Shaw bill and want to pay directly through Netflix, please visit Netflix.com/YourAccountPayment to switch to a new payment method. If you are unable to access your Netflix account, please see “I’m having trouble signing in to Netflix” below.
If you would like to make changes to how you pay your Shaw bill, please contact Shaw directly.
Netflix is unable to provide refunds to accounts billed by Shaw. If you believe that you were charged in error, and you’ve confirmed that no one in your household created an account on your behalf, contact Shaw for support. If you are seeing the message “Sorry, we can't find an account with this email address,” follow the steps below.
Check to see if you are still signed in to Netflix on the device you used to sign up. If so, you can access your account information and update your email address.
If you are signed in to Netflix on your Shaw set-top box, you should be able to access your account details. Launch the Netflix app and follow these steps:
From the Netflix home screen, press the up arrow on your remote until you reach the menu bar, then select Settings.
To update the account email address, select Change email.
If prompted, enter the account password and select Next.
Enter a new email address and select Next.
Select Back to Settings.
If you’re still unable to access your account and you signed up through a Shaw promotion:
Contact Shaw and ask them to send you another redemption email.
Click the link in the email.
You will be directed to a sign-in page with your email address auto-populated. You can sign in to your Netflix account from this page, and update your email address if necessary.
