Explore in new ways with AI Discover

AI Discover is a place in the Netflix TV app where you can try AI-powered experiences that help you find something to watch.

AI Discover:

  • Is available to a small group of members. It is not available in Kids profiles.

  • Is optional to try. Your regular Netflix experience stays the same.

  • Experiences will evolve over time as we introduce and improve new ways to discover titles.

  • Is currently available on TVs and TV streaming devices that meet the technical requirements.

To try our first experience in AI Discover:

  1. Open Netflix on your TV or TV streaming device.

  2. Select the ✦ Discover shortcut from the top menu.

  3. When prompted, select what you’re in the mood for (for example, “Quick watches” or “Settle in for movie time”) or choose Get more options. AI Discover will make recommendations based on your watch history, preferences, and time of day.

  4. You’ll see a results page with titles we think you’ll like.

    • Refine your results: Select from the categories shown on the page to narrow down your recommendations.

    • Tell us what’s not for you: Select Tune Recommendations to let AI Discover know if you want it to stop recommending a specific title.

Note: Selecting “Don’t recommend” will only remove the title from recommendations in AI Discover. It doesn’t change recommendations elsewhere on Netflix.

Provide feedback

Your engagement with AI Discover helps us understand what to keep, improve, and build next. AI Discover is still early and like any AI-powered experience, it can make mistakes. If you have specific feedback about the experience or recommendations, contact us and make sure to mention “AI Discover.”

AI Discover is currently available to a small group of members. If you’re included, you’ll see a ✦ Discover shortcut in the top menu on your TV, and will have also received an email.

If you don’t see AI Discover in the top menu on your TV:

  • You may not be included in this small group of members

  • You are using a TV or TV streaming device that doesn’t meet the technical requirements
