What is a Netflix Household?

A Netflix Household is a collection of devices connected to the internet at the main place where you watch Netflix. You may not share your Netflix account outside of your household. People who are not in your household will need to create their own account to watch Netflix, or can be added as an extra member.

When you sign in to Netflix from any device on the same internet connection as your TV, we will automatically establish your Netflix Household based on IP address, device IDs, and account activity. We do not collect GPS data to try to determine the precise physical location of your devices.

You can always update your Netflix Household from a TV. You can also check for unrecognized or unwanted devices using your account and select Sign out of All Devices.
