I got an email about a new sign-in to my account
We want to help keep your account secure, so we email you whenever there's a new sign-in to your Netflix account from a new device. The location of the sign-in may not exactly match your current location because it's based on the IP address your device is using, and the time displayed is the local time of the new sign-in.
If you don't recognize this sign-in, you should change your password immediately. Send yourself a password reset email or text (SMS) message to do this easily.
See How to keep your account secure for more tips to keep your information safe.
"First-time sign-in" notifications for a household member
If a household member on your account signs in for the first time, we'll send you an email to let you know. You don't need to do anything if you recognize the sign-in.
If you don't recognize the email:
Go to your Account page and select Manage Profiles.
Review each profile to find any email addresses you don't recognize.
Remove any emails you don't recognize. Anyone using them will be signed out within 24 hours.
Change your password and sign out of all devices for extra safety. See How to stop someone from using your account for the full steps.
