Netflix says 'Cannot play title. Please try again later (NSURL:1200;).'

If you get an error on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch that says

Cannot play title. Please try again later. (NSURL:1200;)

It usually means a network connectivity issue is preventing the device from reaching the Netflix service. Follow the steps below to fix the problem.

Check if your network can play Netflix

Public networks:

For Wi-Fi in places like a café, hotel, or school, ask if video services like Netflix are blocked.

Private networks:

Check if your connection is slower than our recommended speeds and contact your internet service provider if you need help.

Connections like mobile hotspots, cellular, or satellite networks might be too slow to use Netflix.


Check date and time settings

  1. Tap the Settings icon on the Home screen.

  2. Tap General.

  3. Tap Date & Time.

    • If the date and time are incorrect, tap either the date or time to adjust them, or simply toggle the Set Automatically field to On.
