My email address is being used on another Netflix account
If your email address is already in use when you try to sign up for a Netflix account, or you believe someone created a Netflix account using your email address, follow the steps below:
It’s possible that you mistakenly opened a second account by mistyping an email or using a different email address to sign in.
Select the option to reset your password by Email.
Enter your email address and select Email Me.
If you received a password reset email, then you may have a duplicate account. Please contact us for further assistance.
If you see an error that says “No account found for this email address,” continue troubleshooting below.
You are able to add a different email address to any profile with an All Maturity rating to receive personalized recommendations and other communications from Netflix.
You will need to remove your email address from an existing profile before you can add it to a different profile.
