Can't sign in to Netflix

If you forget or don't have access to your Netflix email or password, see the instructions below for iPhone or iPad.

Signing in with a code sent by email or text

  • Check your email address or phone number for any typos. You will get an email or text message (SMS) with the sign-in code sent to the email or phone number linked to your Netflix account.

Signing in with a password

  • Enter your password again, keeping in mind that Netflix passwords are case-sensitive.

  • Tap Show to make sure it's correct.

  • If Netflix says, "Invalid Email", try using your phone number and password to sign in.

If that doesn't work, go to the next section of this article.

If you use iCloud Keychain to save passwords to your Apple account, you may need to remove your Netflix information from Keychain. If you need help, contact Apple Support.

From the Netflix app, tap Recover Password and reset your password by email or text message.

Note: If you choose Sign out of all devices, it may take up to 8 hours to fully disconnect all devices signed in to your account.
