Netflix says 'The current plan is not compatible with this older version of the app'
If you see an error on your Android phone or tablet that says
The current plan is not compatible with this older version of the app.
It means that your Android device isn't supported on your current streaming plan.
Some phones, tablets, and older versions of Android aren’t supported on the mobile plan. Follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue.
Update your Android version
The mobile plan is compatible with most Android devices with Android 7 or later. For help checking your Android version, or updating to the latest Android version available for your device, go to the Google support site.
