How to delete downloads

You can delete a downloaded TV show or movie from your device when you're finished watching it.

You can also delete downloads from a device you don't have access to by removing that device from your Netflix account.

Delete a single TV show or movie

Android phone or tablet, iPhone, or iPad

1. Open the Netflix app.

2. In the lower right, tap My Netflix .

3. Tap Downloads .

   • To delete individual episodes from a TV show, select the TV show first.

4. Next to an episode or movie, tap the download status icon .

5. Tap Delete Download .

Netflix app for Windows

1. Open the Netflix app.

2. Select Menu , then My Downloads.

3. In the upper right corner of the screen, tap or select the Edit icon .

   • To delete individual episodes from a TV show, select the TV show first.

4. Check the box next to the TV show or movie you want to delete, then tap the Delete icon .

Delete all downloads

Android phone or tablet, iPhone, or iPad

1. Open the Netflix app.

2. In the lower right, tap My Netflix .

3. In the upper right, tap the Menu .

4. Tap App Settings .

5. Under Downloads, select Delete All Downloads .

6. On the confirmation screen, tap Delete.

Netflix app for Windows

1. Open the Netflix app.

2. Click or tap the More icon ... .

3. Select Settings.

4. Under Downloads, select Delete All Downloads.

5. On the confirmation screen, select OK.

Delete all downloads from a device by removing it from your account:

Web browser

1. Using a browser, go to your Manage download devices page. You may need to sign in if you haven’t already.

2. Select Remove device to delete all downloads from that device.

Android phone or tablet, iPhone, or iPad

1. Open the Netflix app.

2. In the lower right, tap My Netflix .

3. In the upper right, tap the Menu .

4. Tap Account .

5. Under Settings, tap Manage download devices.

6. Tap Remove device to delete all downloads from that device.

Netflix app for Windows

1. Open the Netflix app.

2. Click or tap the More icon ... .

3. Select Settings.

4. Select Account Details.

5. Select Manage download devices.

6. Select Remove device to delete all downloads from that device.
