Subtitle and caption appearance doesn't change

If you change your subtitle and caption appearance but the update doesn't change, follow the steps for your device below to fix the problem.

Switch Netflix profiles

  1. Open the Netflix app.

  2. In the lower right, tap My Netflix.

  3. Tap your Profile icon , then tap a different profile to switch to it.

    • If you don't have another profile, tap Add Profile to make a new one.

  4. Follow the steps above to switch back to the original profile.

  5. Try Netflix again.

Reload the Netflix app
  1. Go to the Netflix home screen and press the back button on your remote to get to the menu.

  2. If the menu is at the top: Go left to your profile icon, select Get Help, then Reload Netflix.

    If the menu is on the left: At the bottom, select Get Help, then Reload Netflix.

  3. Try Netflix again.
