Audio descriptions are missing from downloaded TV shows or movies

If Audio Description options appear when streaming a TV show or movie, but don't appear after downloading the title, it usually means your language preference isn't set to Audio Descriptions. Follow the steps below to fix the problem.

If you don't see an Audio Description option in the Audio & Subtitles menu when trying to stream your TV show or movie, it may not have audio descriptions available.

See a list of TV shows and movies with audio descriptions.

Note:If you already downloaded the TV show or movie, delete the download before doing these steps.

  1. Open Netflix while connected to the internet.

  2. Tap a TV show or movie.

  3. Tap Play to start streaming.

  4. Tap Audio & Subtitles.

  5. Under Audio, tap the option with Audio Description in the title.

  6. Tap Apply.

  7. Tap the Back button to return to the previous menu.

  8. Try to download your title again.

  6. Tap the X icon to close the Audio & Subtitles menu.

  7. Tap the X icon again to return to the title screen.

  8. Try to download your title again.
