How to use 'Downloads for You'

To make sure you always have something to watch offline, use Downloads for You. Downloads for You automatically downloads TV shows and movies we think you might like to your Android phone or tablet, iPhone, or iPad.

To turn Downloads for You on or off:

1. Open the Netflix app.

2. In the lower right, tap My Netflix .

3. In the upper right, tap the Menu .

4. Tap App Settings .

5. Under Downloads, tap Smart Downloads .

6. Toggle the switch next to Downloads for You to turn the setting on or off.

7. When Downloads for You is toggled on, use the and buttons to adjust the storage (GB) amount to download for each profile.

Downloads for You:

• Is available on iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets running the latest version of the Netflix app.

• Works when you're connected to Wi-Fi, so your cellular data won't be used.

• Is optional. You can toggle it on or off at any time in your Smart Downloads settings.

If TV shows and movies aren't automatically downloaded, make sure:

1. Downloads for You is toggled on.

2. Your device is connected to Wi-Fi.

3. There is available storage space on your device.
