How to turn autoplay previews on or off
To quickly sample TV shows and movies, you can set Netflix to play previews automatically.
Note:Some older TVs and devices don't support autoplay previews.
Android phone or tablet, iPhone, or iPad
Open the Netflix app.
In the lower right, tap My Netflix
.In the upper right, tap the Menu
.Tap Manage Profiles
.Select the profile you want to edit.
Toggle the switch next to Autoplay Previews
to turn the setting on or off.In the upper right, tap Done.
Web browser
Using a browser, go to your Account page.
Select Profiles, then choose a profile.
Select Playback settings.
Check or uncheck Autoplay previews while browsing on all devices.
Note:On TVs, turning off autoplay previews doesn't stop autoplaying from the details page of a TV show or movie.Select Save.
You may need to refresh your device to pick up the updated settings.
To refresh:
Switch to another profile, then switch back.
Or, reload Netflix:
Go to the Netflix home screen and press the back button
on your remote to get to the menu. If the menu is at the top: Go left to your profile icon, select Get Help, then Reload Netflix.
If the menu is on the left: At the bottom, select Get Help, then Reload Netflix.
