Real-time voting

Submit your vote in real time during some live events and podcasts on Netflix.

How to vote

You can vote during specific moments as the event streams live on your mobile device or TV, directly in the Netflix app.

  1. When it’s time to vote, you’ll be prompted on-screen and will have a limited amount of time to submit your vote.

  2. Select from the options displayed on the screen.

    Note: You can only vote once (per profile), and your vote can’t be changed after submitting.

  3. Done! Your vote is in.

You can only vote if you’re watching live. If you rewind or aren’t caught up, you may miss the voting window.

Real-time voting is currently available during some live events and podcasts:

Note: Some live events and podcasts may not be available in your country.

You can vote once per profile per voting window.

Real-time voting allows you to influence broadcast events and shape the live conversation, and will vary based on the event or podcast.

You can only vote if you’re watching live on Netflix. If you rewind or aren’t caught up, you may miss the voting window.

Real-time voting isn’t available if you’re watching the show after the livestream.

The voting interface is only available in English; however, you can still vote regardless of your language settings.

Real-time voting is available while watching live on TVs, TV streaming devices, and mobile devices. Most newer devices are supported. Real-time voting isn't available when watching in a web browser.

  • If you're seeing a message to watch live on a supported device to vote, your device doesn’t support real-time voting, so you’ll need to watch on a different device to vote.

  • Make sure the device is updated. If you're not sure how to update the system software on your device, check your owner's manual or contact the manufacturer.
