Netflix has encountered an error. Retrying in [X] seconds.

This error happens when an issue with data stored on your device stops Netflix from playing.
To fix the problem, follow the steps for your device.
TVs and streaming media players
Sign out of NetflixGo to the Netflix home screen and press the back button
on your remote to get to the menu.
If the menu is at the top: Go left to your profile icon, select Get Help, then Sign out, then select Yes.
If the menu is on the left: At the bottom, select Get Help, then Sign out, then select Yes.
Sign back in and try Netflix again.
If your device is on an error screen:
Select More Details.
Select Sign out or Reset.
Sign back in and try Netflix again.
If you can't find Get Help or Sign out:
Using your remote, press these buttons in this order: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up.
On the menu that appears, select Sign out, Reset, or Deactivate.

Video game consoles

Uninstall the Netflix app:
Begin from the Xbox Dashboard.
Select My Games & Apps.
Note:You may need to scroll down to see this option.
Select Apps from the options on the left.
Highlight the Netflix app and press the Menu button on the controller.
Select Manage App.
Select Uninstall All.
Select Uninstall All again to confirm.
Reinstall the Netflix app:
Begin from the Home screen on your Xbox One.
Scroll right to access the Store.
In the Apps section, select Netflix.
Note:If you do not see Netflix, select Search all apps to search for Netflix.
Select Install.
Once the app has finished downloading, select Launch to sign in and try Netflix again.
Go to the Netflix home screen and press the back button
on your remote to get to the menu.
If the menu is at the top: Go left to your profile icon, select Get Help, then Sign out, then select Yes.
If the menu is on the left: At the bottom, select Get Help, then Sign out, then select Yes.
Sign back in and try Netflix again.
If your device is on an error screen:
Select More Details.
Select Sign out or Reset.
Sign back in and try Netflix again.
If you can't find Get Help or Sign out:
Using your remote, press these buttons in this order: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up.
On the menu that appears, select Sign out, Reset, or Deactivate.
Uninstall Netflix
Go to the Xbox 360 Dashboard, then go to Apps.
Select My Apps, then highlight the Netflix app.
Press the X button, then select Delete > Yes.
Reinstall Netflix
On the Xbox 360 Dashboard, go to Apps.
Select Netflix to get the app.
Try Netflix again.
