Netflix Error U7111-5005

If you get the error code U7111-5005 on your Windows computer or tablet with this message:

Streaming Error
Your account is on hold because of a problem with your last payment. Go to netflix.com/payment to update.

It means that Netflix could not collect payment. Follow these steps to fix the issue.

Check your account status on Netflix.com

  1. Go to your Account page.

  2. Follow the instructions in the alert at the top of the page.

Clear the Netflix cookie

  1. Go to netflix.com/clearcookies. This will sign you out of your account.

  2. Select Sign In and enter your Netflix email and password.

  3. Try Netflix again.
