About Password Managers
A password manager is an app or online service available on most mobile devices and web browsers. It is not part of Netflix. Password managers can be used to securely store your login information, like emails and passwords, and automatically fill that information in on websites or apps you've used before. They can save time and help you use strong passwords, but they can also cause login issues if you change a password somewhere else without updating it in the password manager.
Common password managers
The most common password managers come with your mobile device or computer:
Google Password Manager
Samsung Pass
Apple Passwords or iCloud Keychain
Other common password managers are available as an online service
1Password
LastPass
How to update or delete saved passwords (mobile devices only)
If you’ve recently changed the email and/or password you use for Netflix, you’ll need to update them in your password manager. Follow the steps for the password manager you use:
If you manage your passwords with Google:
Go to Settings and search for Password Manager
Under Google Play services, tap Password Manager
In the list, find and tap Netflix. You might need to enter your screen lock
Tap Delete to remove, or Edit to update your Netflix password
Try Netflix again
If you use Samsung Pass:
Go to Settings, then tap Biometrics and security
Tap Samsung Pass. You may be asked to enter your Samsung password
Under IDs and passwords, tap Apps
In the list, find and tap Netflix
Tap Delete, then tap Delete again to confirm
If you use Apple's Passwords app or iCloud Keychain:
Go to Apple's support site to learn how to update or remove a saved password on your iPhone or iPad.
If you're still having trouble
If the Netflix login information saved in your password manager is correct but you still can't sign in, go to Can't sign in to Netflix for help.
