How to watch TF1+ on Netflix

Enjoy TF1+ programming and live channels on Netflix, included with your membership. Watch both on-demand and live programming, including scripted dramas, soaps, entertainment TV, live sports, and much more.

TF1+ is included with all Netflix plans at no additional cost and is available directly on Netflix. TF1+ programming includes ads across all our plans.

Note: Only Netflix accounts created in France have access to TF1+.

There are a couple of ways to find TF1+ on Netflix:

  • Search for “TF1” or a live channel or program name. Live channels are available on supported TVs and TV streaming devices; on-demand programs are available on all supported devices.

  • Browse the TF1+ hub to explore all available TF1+ programming.

    To return to the Netflix home screen:

    • On TVs and TV streaming devices: press the back button on your remote

    • On mobile devices and computers: tap or select Home

Note: TF1+ isn’t available in Kids profiles.

TF1+ on Netflix offers five live channels (TF1, TMC, TFX, TF1 Séries Films, and LCI) to watch on TVs and TV streaming devices. Live channels appear at the top of the TF1+ hub. They’re not currently available on mobile devices or while watching in a browser.

Most live channel programming will be available to watch on demand shortly after airing.

Note: You can’t pause, rewind, or fast-forward during live programming.

TF1+ on Netflix offers a wide catalog of programming, including scripted dramas, soaps, entertainment TV, live sports, and much more.

Watching TF1+ on-demand programs works just like watching other titles on Netflix.

When watching TF1+ on Netflix:

  • The TF1+ catalog may differ from the TF1+ streaming service and excludes Kids programming

  • TF1+ programming includes ads across all our plans

  • Maturity ratings follow the French ARCOM system

  • Title details, audio, and subtitle language are limited to French

  • Downloading to watch offline isn’t supported

  • Picture in Picture (PiP) isn’t supported

You can watch TF1+ programming on most newer devices.

TVs, TV streaming devices, and game consoles

Make sure your device's software is up to date. If you're not sure how to update it, check your owner's manual or contact the manufacturer.

After signing in on your TV or TV streaming device, use the Netflix app to check whether your device supports watching TF1+ on Netflix.

  1. Go to the home screen and press the back button on your remote to get to the menu.

  2. If the menu is at the top: Go left to your profile icon, select Get Help, then Device.

    If the menu is on the left: At the bottom, select Get Help, then Device.​

  3. Under Platform Version, look for the code at the very end of the long string of text, after the final "/":

    • dt:1 or dt:2 means your device should support watching TF1+ on Netflix

    • dt:3 means your device doesn’t support watching TF1+ on Netflix

Mobile phones

  • Android phones require Android OS 9 or later and the latest version of the Netflix app. Learn how to update your Android device.

  • iPhone requires iOS 18 or later and the latest version of the Netflix app. Learn how to update your iPhone.

    Note: You may be able to watch on a TV by connecting your mobile device with a video cable or adapter. Note that not all devices and cables are supported.

Computers

You can watch TF1+ programs in your web browser or with the Netflix app for Windows 10 and later. To make sure you have the latest browser version, see Netflix supported browsers and system requirements.


Not currently supported:

  • Android tablets and some Android-based TV streaming devices

  • Apple TV

  • iPad

  • TVs not running the latest Netflix TV experience

  • TV streaming devices not running the latest Netflix TV experience

  • Casting from a Chrome browser to a TV or external display

  • Certain apps and features that cast or wirelessly mirror your mobile device's screen to a TV or external display (ex. Google Cast)

A small number of devices not listed above don't support the TF1+ experience on Netflix. This is typically because the Netflix app or software on the device can't be updated, or is no longer actively supported.

TF1+ programs (both live and on-demand) are included with all Netflix plans. As with the standard TF1+ streaming experience, these programs include commercial breaks.

Note: Maturity rating settings don't apply to TF1+ live channel programming.

TF1+ program details and subtitles are available in French. Audio language is limited to the program’s original language and French.

Note: Subtitle and caption appearance may not be available or may vary on TF1+ programs.

In your profile settings, you can show or hide ad-supported TF1+ content (available for Standard, Premium, and extra members). Learn how to update your profile settings.

TF1+ is only available to members with a French Netflix account created in France. This excludes French territories.

Note: While traveling within the European Union, you can still watch TF1+ programming for a limited period of time.

Your Netflix membership gives you access to select TF1+ programming directly on Netflix. A separate TF1+ account isn’t included or required to watch on Netflix.
