Welcome to Netflix on your Bell Canada set-top box! Use this article to learn about Netflix features and how to set up and sign out of your account.
Netflix is available on select Bell Canada set-top boxes, listed below. Netflix streaming features on supported devices include:
Navigation
On most devices, Netflix lets you browse through rows of TV shows and movies, including a row dedicated to your My List selections. Each row represents a category (Comedies, Dramas,
TV shows, etc) that we present to you based on what you’ve watched.
Resolution
Most devices are capable of streaming Netflix in high definition on fast internet connections and will play Netflix in their maximum supported resolution (see our Internet Connection Speed recommendations for more information).
Subtitles & Alternate Audio
Learn how to enable subtitles, closed captions, and alternate audio (including 5.1 surround sound), which are available on many TV shows and movies. Many devices will let you customize
the appearance of subtitles and captions. Some devices will display subtitles and captions in their default appearance, or are not configured to display subtitles.
Parental Controls
Netflix allows you to set parental controls on individual profiles.

If you’re unsure of your device’s model name or number, follow the steps in the “Set up Netflix” section to attempt to locate the Netflix app.
To connect your set-top box from Bell Canada to your Netflix account, start from the Home screen and choose from the options below.
Connect from the App Launcher (Fibe TV Customers)

Press the APPS or INTERACTIVE TV button on your remote.

Use the right arrow button to scroll to the Netflix app and press OK.

Once in the Netflix app, select Sign In.

If you are not yet a member, follow the signup prompts or set up your membership online.

Your device is now connected to your Netflix account. Enjoy!
Connect from App Launcher (Fibe/Fibe Atlantic Customers)

Press the APPS button on your remote.

Use the right arrow button to scroll to the Netflix app and press OK.

Once in the Netflix app, select Sign In.

If you are not yet a member, follow the signup prompts or set up your membership online.

Your device is now connected to your Netflix account. Enjoy!
Connect from the Apps Menu (Bell 9500 only)

Press the Menu button on your remote.

Scroll to and select Apps.

Locate the Netflix app and press OK.

Once in the Netflix app, select Sign In.

If you are not yet a member, follow the signup prompts or set up your membership online.
Your device is now connected to your Netflix account. Enjoy!
Connect from the Channel Lineup

Use your remote to navigate to one of these local channels:

Fibe/Fibe Atlantic: Channel 333 in SD or Channel 556 in HD

Fibe TV: Channel 311 in SD or Channel 1311 in HD

Bell 9500: Channel 1267

Once on the channel, select OK to launch the Netflix app.

Once in the Netflix app, select Sign In.

If you are not yet a member, follow the signup prompts or set up your membership online.

Your device is now connected to your Netflix account. Enjoy!
To sign out of the Netflix account on your device, follow the steps below.
Exit and sign out of Netflix

Begin from the Netflix home screen.

Press the Back or Last button on your remote.

Select the gear icon
on the right. -
Select Sign out.

Select Yes to confirm.
-
You will now be given the option to sign in as a different Netflix member.
Exit Netflix without signing out

Begin from the Netflix home screen.

Press the Back or Last button on your remote.

Select the gear icon
on the right. -
Select Exit.

Select OK.
Netflix is available in Ultra HD on select Bell Canada models. To stream in Ultra HD, you will need:
-
A 2014 or newer Ultra HD TV that is capable of streaming Ultra HD content at 60 Hz, connected to your set-top box via an HDMI port that supports HDCP 2.2 or later (usually the HDMI 1 port).

A plan that supports streaming in Ultra HD. You can check which plan you're currently on at Netflix.com/ChangePlan.

A steady internet connection speed of 25 megabits per second or higher.

Streaming quality set to Auto or High. More information about video quality settings can be found in our playback settings article.
