Netflix Error 5.7

There is a problem playing the video. Please try again. (5.7)

This error happens when an issue with data stored on your device stops Netflix from playing.

To fix the problem, follow the steps for your device.

Android phone or tablet

Turn your device off, then back on

  1. Turn off your phone or tablet. Make sure it's turned off, not just locked.

  2. Turn it back on.

  3. Try Netflix again.

Samsung phone or tablet

Turn your device off, then back on

  1. Turn off your phone or tablet. Make sure it's turned off, not just locked.

  2. Turn it back on.

  3. Try Netflix again.

Reset system settings

These steps will only reset changes you made to customize your phone or tablet, like notifications and display and sound settings. They will not delete any of your personal data, like downloaded apps, photos, music, and videos. 
  1. Tap Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset settings.

  2. Tap reset settings. You might be asked to enter your device's screen lock pattern, PIN, or password.

  3. To confirm, reset settings again.

  4. After your device has restarted, try Netflix again.
