How to require a PIN to add a new profile

You can have a PIN be required to add new profiles to your Netflix account. First, follow the steps to add a Profile Lock PIN to the main profile of your Netflix account. This setting is available only on the main profile of your Netflix account.

Note:

In your Netflix account, the main profile is the one shown on the far left or upper left when Netflix asks, "Who's watching?"

After a Profile Lock PIN is set up on your main profile, follow the steps below to make the PIN required to add new profiles:

Using a web browser, go to your Account page.
Under Profile & Parental Controls, click the main account profile (the one at the top).
Next to Profile Lock, click Change.
Enter your Netflix account password.
Check the box to Require PIN to add new profiles, then click Save.
