Spatial audio on Netflix

Spatial audio enhances sound without the need for surround sound speakers or home theater equipment and is available on the Netflix Premium plan. It works on all Netflix-supported devices.

To find TV shows and movies with spatial audio, search for "spatial audio" in the Netflix app. You'll see a spatial audio label next to the title's description.

TV shows and movies that support spatial audio will automatically play when spatial audio is turned on.

Note: TVs or soundbars that use 5.1 surround sound or Dolby Atmos may require switching to a stereo output to enable spatial audio. Check your manufacturer’s settings for compatibility.

The following Galaxy Buds models work with Galaxy phones and get Netflix spatial audio with head tracking:

  • Galaxy Buds Pro

  • Galaxy Buds2 Pro

  • Galaxy Buds3 Pro

  • Galaxy Buds4 or Buds4 Pro

To turn on head tracking:

  • Connect your earbuds to your phone.

  • Open the Galaxy Wearable app.

  • Tap Earbud Settings > Advanced. For Buds2 Pro, tap 360 audio.

  • Tap the switch to turn on 360 audio.

  • Tap the switch to turn on Head tracking.
