How to restart your Netflix membership

If you can still watch Netflix:

• There may be a banner at the top of the screen or a pop-up screen with an option to Undo Cancel Request that you can select to restart.

  • If there isn’t a banner or screen to restart, go to your account page on a computer or mobile browser. You should see a banner there or a Restart Membership button that you can use to restart your account

    

  • When you restart, all of your Profiles, My List, game saves, and payment information will still be there – it’s like you never canceled. Your billing date will stay the same.

If you see a “welcome back” message or are asked to continue setting up your account:

• Follow the steps on the screen to finish restarting your account.

  • You may need to update or confirm some of your account settings and payment information.

  • When you restart, all of your Profiles, My List, game saves, and payment information will still be there. Your billing date may change to the day you restarted your account.

If you see a message that Netflix can’t find an account with that email address:

• You either:

  • used a different email address for your account

  • mistyped your email address

  • or it’s been some time since you canceled it.

• Double-check that you have the right email address. If Netflix still can't find your account, you’ll need to follow the steps on the screen to set up a new one.

  • None of your prior account information (Profiles, My List, game saves, etc.) will be available in the new account, and you’ll need a valid payment method to start the new account. ​
