How to restart your Netflix account

Restart your Netflix account by signing in to Netflix and selecting Restart Membership from any profile (except a Kids profile).

Note:
If you don't remember your password, you can reset it. Then sign in and you'll be redirected to your Account page where you can choose Add streaming plan > Restart Membership.
  • If you’ve recently canceled your account and can still watch Netflix, when restarting your account all your account details will be the same (chosen plan, payment method, billing date, etc.) unless you’re prompted to choose new options.

  • If you’ve canceled within the last ten months and can no longer watch Netflix, you’ll be able to confirm or update your account details before restarting. Your billing date will change to the date you restarted the account.

  • If you canceled over ten months ago, you’ll have to start a new account.
